She has managed to win the lotto not once but twice in a period of only three months.
Lena Eaton won her first lottery jackpot prize in August where she won a whopping $300,000 on a Quick Draw ticket. Her second lottery win was on last Thursday when she bought a $5 Scorchin’ Hot 9s scratch card ticket as Safeway Foods. Her chances of winning the Quick Draw were 1 in 8.9 million and 1 in 646,000 for the scratchcard. The unbelievable odds of winning both were a staggering 1 in 5.7 trillion!
This great grandmother has got to be the luckiest woman on the planet. She had already started using some of her winnings from her first win to renovate her house and with her second winning scratch ticket win intends to live it up a bit by indulging herself in travel.
The lucky winner like so many of us was delighted at the opportunity to be able to help her many children, grand children and great grand children. She was quoted as saying, “It’s been a pleasure being able to help them. I’ve got good kids.”
